STOP the madness and start BYOB (bringing your own bags, silly!)

WHY? Because about 100 billion plastic bags end up in the landfill every year!!!! (a petroleum product that takes forever to biodegrade, that is)

CHANGE over to your own, reusable cloth napkins. (ok, maybe even get a little more neurotic and look for hemp, bamboo, or organic cotton napkins )

WHY? MMM.. this is tough because of the overwelming depressing facts. Let's just say the paper industry is bad ju ju, OK?

SO whats wrong with the coffee house? (our fav. places to meet and work on MOM-EASE stuff!)NOTHING, except if we did it, we would give half off to anyone who BRINGS THEIR OWN CUP! (Why waste a tree when you don't have to?)  Email this site to your fav. coffee place! Check out the other cool stuff on this site and skip the lid.. it won't biodegrade any time soon.  .

ALERT! We are on the fence about cfl's and are still doing more research. Keep checking. All we know is that they have a small little MERCURY (brain, nervous, and organ system toxicity, birth defects) warning on the bottom, and they MUST MUST MUST be recycled.

WASTE away for this one, baby! Go out and slam those outdated light bulbs on the ground the next time you have a bad day. (Who said being eco-friendly can't be fun?)

WHY? CFLs (compact flourescent lightbulbs) use 75% (yes 75%!) less energy than the regular ones.  (sign here to make a switch)

GET a few friends together and head out to the hazardous waste dump. (and don't forget the PPE's- personal protective equipment)

GET rid of those cancer causing, cough-inducing, scary chemicals. It is not hard to use natural cleaners, and they cost a fraction of the price. (We personally believe that vinegar is a miracle liquid. )click here for more.
